Summary
This volunteer role is part of the Seeing Eye Dogs Puppy Development team. Puppy carers provide high-quality care for Seeing Eye Dogs puppies or dogs in their home for an agreed period. Under the guidance of a Puppy Development Trainer, carers teach basic obedience, house manners, toileting and eating on command, and relaxed lead walking. Carers also support socialisation by introducing the puppy to various public settings (e.g., cafes, shops, cinemas), as appropriate and in consultation with their Puppy Development Trainer.
